Steve looked down at her and furrowed his brows. He lifted his hand, moving along her cheek. “If we’re going to get married, you should stop lying to me, Tonya.” He simply stated. He could see it in her eyes that she wasn’t okay, that she felt somehow wrong. “I love you…” Steve whispered. “And I want you to be happy. I… sorry that I have said something like that before.” He leant down again, catching her lips in a soft and warm kiss, his hand still on her cheek, his other wrapped around her hip, pressing her closer against him.
She blinked, staring at him. How..how did he figure that out? How did he see through her facade? Everyone else fell for it but..not Steve. She stared at him in almost shock, her heart pounding at his words. He even told her he loved her. “I love you, too..” She whispered back, her heart really pounding. Why did she feel guilty in the first place? Maybe it was because she had been the one to seduce Steve into her bed, and now he was feeling bad about doing something Fury didn’t like. It had been because of her. He kissed her and she wrapped an arm around his neck, leaning more into the kiss.
She really did love him. This wasn’t some game to her, wasn’t a joke or anything else; she really had met her match. Steve was the only person in the whole wide world who could..warm her heart and her bed all in one. She broke the kiss lightly, keeping their faces close, her eyes looking into his. “..I do love you. And I don’t care if anyone believes me or likes it. I want to marry you..and no one’s going to stop us.” She wrapped both arms around his neck, closing her eyes as she relaxed in his arms.
Steve smiled at her words, pulling her even closer as she wrapped his arms around his neck. “Yeah, you know… if you have me once in your grip, I can’t get out. And I won’t.” He nodded, leaning down again to kiss her on her forehead. “Nobody could stop me now, convincing me that this wasn’t the best decision after hibernation.” He whispered, his nose moving along her face as he placed soft kisses on her skin. “How fast do you think you can manage to plan the wedding?” He asked, his face still just a few inches away from hers. “I really want a… nice one. Not just doing some vows in front of some guy, subscribing the papers and then it’s done. I always imagined it a bit more… well… wedding-ish.” His cheeks coloured slightly and he felt like some girl who told her fiancé about the wedding she had ever dreamt about.
He really knew how to capture a girl’s heart. She smiled even wider as he kissed her forehead, telling her things that she wanted to hear. No one would have thought that the infamous Tonya Stark would become such a softie; for Steve, she’d do anything. He started kissing down her face and she shivered, closing her eyes. Okay, she thought, he could take her right there in the middle of the street and she wouldn’t care. She leaned her face more towards his, listening about the wedding. “Whatever you want, babe. I’ll do the whole shebang if you want..as long as you keep your word about the promise.” She didn’t want to disappoint Steve but she wasn’t into the whole dress and flowers..yeah, she could afford the biggest wedding of them all and make everyone jealous with her wedding dress but she just..didn’t care. Honestly, it was about her and Steve, not about anyone else. Who else mattered?
” Good to see you again.” he smirked and looked at her.
“Spangles!”
“Where have you been big guy? I missed you!”
He smiled and looked at her. ” I uh, been around here and there and I have been busy doing things with SHIELD. How have you bee Tony?”
“Well that sound’s boring.”
“I’ve been okay. A tad lonely, actually. Wanna help me out with that?”
He sighed and shook his head as he slightly chuckled to himself. ” I uh, what are you trying to concoct Stark..?”
“Nothing at all, Rogers.”
“Nothing but maybe some fun rolls in the hay.” She waggled her eyebrows at him.
